Ecosmart Paint is a 100% water based inorganic paint that uses polymer as binder. It can be coated on various types of surfaces including metal, plastic, ceramic, glass and concrete under normal or low temperature. It consists of a binder, filling agent and additive, except that these agents are purely inorganic. As these agents are inorganic, the film created by the filler and binder shares the same properties as that of most inorganic elements. Examples of such properties are non-flammable, heat resistance, weather resistance, anti-bacterium, anti-corrosion, deodorization, non-toxic, insulation and high hardness. By choosing different filling agents, we could produce different coating film with particular features such as anti-high temperature oxidation, anti-ultraviolet absorption, light absorption, electric conduction, electric carrying, mould proof, moisture proof, corrosion prevention, foreign flavour elimination etc.
Normal organic coating uses binders which are usually carbon coalescent, E-thr coalescent and E-ster coalescent etc. The binding energy between the elements are weak and is easily decomposed by light and heat, thus they are less durable. Having almost the same coating process as the organic coating, inorganic coating uses Si-O coalescent and Al-O coalescent as its binder, hence resulting in a much stronger binding energy that will not depart easily, therefore, its durability is much better than organic coating.
